ProSidian Seeks a SCADA Systems Engineer  | Automation Systems Integration & Control Engineering [PCBOCC0028027] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Pasco County Across The South East  Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services..

Seeking SCADA Systems Engineer candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Clients such as PCBOCC.  This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Automation Systems Integration & Control Engineering Functional Area Professional - SCADA, Electrical, and Instrumentation/Controls Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a SCADA, Electrical, and Instrumentation/Controls (SCADA Systems Engineer ) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County Utilities Generally Located In CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East  Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - SCADA Systems Engineer  | Automation Systems Integration & Control Engineering [PCBOCC0028027]

• Design, maintain, and upgrade SCADA systems for water and wastewater utility operations.; Support real-time data acquisition, telemetry, and control systems integration across PCU assets.; Ensure systems meet Pasco County standards for security, reliability, and compliance.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For SCADA Systems Engineer  | Automation Systems Integration & Control Engineering [PCBOCC0028027] (PCBOCC0028027) Candidates:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Control Systems, or Computer Engineering; SCADA certification preferred.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in SCADA engineering within utilities or industrial control environments.

Skills Required

• SCADA platforms (Wonderware, GE, etc.), PLC programming, HMI design, telemetry systems.

Competencies Required

• System diagnostics, real-time control logic, reliability engineering, troubleshooting.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Assist in commissioning and testing of SCADA network expansions.
• Develop technical documentation and compliance reports for SCADA assets.

Other Details

• Supports automation initiatives across all categories and interfaces with field instrumentation and cybersecurity.
