- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience and certifications
- Some knowledge of GAAP project accounting and basic finance concepts
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- Relevant training and certifications such as prior/current trade licensure, OSHA10/30, NABCEP, PMP are preferred
- Strong familiarity with construction and electrical codes
- Expertise in EPC contract negotiations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawing sets
- Participate in EPC selection and contract negotiation
- Act as the Owner's Representative by managing EPC firms and engaging with developers, consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Understand site-specific design details and support/manage engineering review and energy model development
- Manage all aspects of the EPC agreement, including official notices, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, construction status updates, safety, milestone achievement, certificates, commissioning, etc.
- Tightly manage project-level budgets and milestone payments, which includes internal reporting and forecasting
- Ensure project quality control by coordinating on-site inspections, coordinating with 3rd party providers if necessary
- Attend project progress meetings
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on all aspects of projects
- Identify, track, manage, and report on project risks
- Update internal data systems and ensure all project-level documentation is accurate
- Coordinate after-action reviews/lessons learned/continuous improvement
- Assist with the development of internal operating policies, standards, and procedures
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues both internally and externally
- Manage relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company safety program
- Ensure appropriate closeout of projects and handover to Generate Asset Management Team
