Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with developers and team members to clarify, document, and communicate test requirements and acceptance criteria for Billing and Revenue systems requirements that support financial operations
  • Assist in designing and executing test cases for frontend, backend, and full-stack features under guidance.
  • Write and maintain simple automated test scripts or manual test cases based on clear specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report basic bugs or inconsistencies in applications across the stack.
  • Follow established QA processes, coding standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and discussions to ensure testability and quality best practices.
  • Provide scope and scale of effort to deliver high quality technical solutions
  • Collaborate with upstream/downstream systems and test leads to identify and test critical end-to-end test scenarios
  • Communicate test results and issues clearly to the team, seeking guidance when needed.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members to drive test automation for batch process and UI regression test
  • Actively participate in regular scrum ceremonies, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  • Present ideas and solutions to key stakeholders and leads as needed
  • Help to resolve bugs and ensure that preventative measures are identified and implemented in a timely manner
  • Continuously learn about software testing methodologies, tools, and your specialty area within QA.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance of enterprise level applications
  • Strong foundational knowledge of software engineering, quality assurance and testing principles
  • Hands on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, WebdriverIO
  • Basic proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language for test automation or test case development
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and common testing types (unit, integration, UI, end-to-end)
  • Ability to design and execute simple test cases for frontend, backend, and full-stack applications
  • Experience or familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative tools
  • Awareness of accessibility, security, and compliance considerations in software testing
  • Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills for identifying and resolving straightforward issues
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools such as Jenkins
  • Expertise with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and project/requirements management tools like JIRA, Riley, TFS
  • Experience with using and/or implementing GenAI tools to increase productivity
  • Effective written and verbal communication for documenting tests and reporting issues
  • Willingness to learn new testing tools, frameworks, and quality assurance practices, and to incorporate feedback
