- Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
- Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina
- Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required
- BLS for healthcare clinician from AHA required
- Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice
- Certification as an Adult Acute care NP from a nationally recognized certifying body required
- 1 year of Hospital Medicine experience required
- Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, complex hospital environment
- NC or SC Licensure depending on practice locations
- Provide inpatient medicine services to the adult population 18 years of age or older
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with hospitalists, inpatient APPs, and clinical support staff to manage adult inpatients
- Perform all aspects of inpatient general medical management for adult patients, including hospital admissions, rounding, discharges, and consultative services
- Responsible for clinical care of acute, subacute, and chronic disease processes
- Utilize ancillary clinical staff and subspecialty services appropriately
- Engage other services within the multidisciplinary team while caring for hospitalized patients
- Participate in a team-based approach to patient care
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred

The PGA of America today named Atrium Health as the Official Health Care Provider and a Community Partner of the 2025 PGA Championship.
