We are seeking a self-motivated synthetic chemist to join our EPIC team and advance and deliver on our Chemical Technology platform in support of our portfolio. The Role:

Advance our chemistry platforms through synthesis in the lab -

• You will apply your synthetic chemistry experience to deliver nano-scale libraries or larger scale parallel synthesis libraries for project teams
• You will leverage high-throughput experimentation (HTE) workflows to optimize reaction conditions for library synthesis or scale-up efforts
• You will collaborate with our machine learning team to propose, develop, and execute automated synthesis workflows to support and accelerate hit follow-up and triage
• You will use specialized software for large scale data organization, visualization, and analysis
• Safety is paramount, and you are committed to following protocols and documenting your work clearly
• You will take an active role in the team and help keep the lab running

Your Background:

• You have a BS, MS, or PhD in chemistry with 1-3 years industry research experience in organic synthesis or medicinal chemistry
• You are excited to be a part of a platform team that collaborates with project teams across the portfolio
• You have experience using and interpreting data from LCMS and HPLC
• The ideal candidate would have prior parallel chemistry or HTE experience
• Automation is cool! You are excited to think about how to accelerate your workflows through automation
• Detail-oriented & organized are adjectives to describe you
• You are committed to data driven decision making and the execution of laboratory experiments to enable those decisions
• Problem solving is fun! You are eager to troubleshoot and solve technical and logistical problems
