Requirements
  • A Licenciatura or Grado in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, Finance, or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing high-volume payroll.
  • Demonstrable experience in hotels, resorts, or companies with more than 300 employees.
  • Solid knowledge of personnel administration and labour legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in payroll processes.
  • Experience with payroll systems and software.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience in HR reporting and metric analysis.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Service orientation and employee support capability.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete payroll cycle for a workforce of more than 400 employees.
  • Review and validate payroll incidents, including overtime, shifts, holidays, vacation, absences, sick leave, and other salary components.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of salary payments.
  • Coordinate with Finance and external payroll providers when appropriate.
  • Manage settlements, severance payments, and related documents.
  • Prepare monthly labour-cost reports and payroll analyses.
  • Resolve employee incidents and inquiries related to payments and benefits.
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and contractual changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date physical and digital employee files.
  • Control employment documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Administer vacation, leave, absenteeism, and time records.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR and payroll.
  • Administer and maintain the human resources information system.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of employee data in HR systems.
  • Participate in the implementation, improvement, and optimization of HR tools.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for key personnel indicators.
  • Coordinate testing, updates, and improvements to payroll and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labour, tax, and social security legislation.
  • Prepare headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and labour-cost reports.
  • Support the preparation of personnel budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance teams on cross-functional projects.
