The Role:
Sales
- Driving profitable revenue growth through activities such as face-to-face and virtual meetings, attending events and conferences, phone calls, and emails.
- Optimising outbound sales and client service for lapsed, current, and new members and clients.
- Exceeding revenue targets and executing sales plans with precision.
- Representing the company at industry events and networking to generate new business leads.
- Driving innovation in sales tactics and processes to ensure sustainable growth.
- Collaborating with marketing and operations teams to maintain a cohesive approach to the market.
- Adjusting sales strategies and plans based on feedback and market dynamics.
- Leading the development of the company's short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategies.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and detailed reports to business owners.
- Negotiating contracts with clients and closing strategic deals to secure long-term revenue.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that align with business objectives and targets.
- Analysing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Providing tailored solutions and nurturing long-term partnerships.
- Increasing customer lifetime value through retention, engagement, and optimised service and product offerings.
- Enhancing brand equity and customer loyalty through exceptional, targeted sales and customer experiences.
- Managing and expanding relationships with key members and customers to foster long-term partnerships.
Commercial
- Delivering accurate sales forecasts and reports to business owners.
- Negotiating contracts with clients and closing strategic deals.
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies throughout the sales process.
- Managing P&L responsibility, delivering profitable growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Making evidence-based decisions and measuring the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
Skills, Expertise, and Experience:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in online education and healthcare courses.
- Regular travel across the UK and Europe will be required to meet lapsed, current, and new members and clients. The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to attend work events and conferences to drive sales growth.
- Exceptional customer relationship building skills to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, repeat and new business.
- Data-literate, with the ability to interpret and utilise data to inform decisions.
- Fluency in a second language such as German or Spanish would be beneficial but not essential.
- Target, sales, and growth driven.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Commercially astute with a strong understanding of business dynamics.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Entrepreneurial approach with a proactive attitude.
