TDS Telecom provides internet, TV, and phone services to residential and business customers across about 1,000 communities in the United States. It is expanding its fiber-optic network to deliver speeds up to 1 gigabit per second. Services run over a fiber network (and other networks) and are sold on a subscription basis through bundled plans. The company differentiates itself by serving rural, suburban, and small-to-mid-size markets with a broad range of connectivity solutions, rather than focusing only on urban areas, and by investing in fiber to raise achievable speeds. Its goal is to extend fiber coverage and improve the reliability and speed of its connectivity across its footprint while continuing to offer integrated internet, TV, and phone services to both residential and business customers.
