Responsibilities
  • Responsible for financial performance of a division (office or practice area) of designated market segment
  • Track monthly workload to coordinate staffing needs with the Market Segment Lead (MSL) and recommend staff changes as needed
  • Track operational progress of the team(s)
  • Promote consistent technical excellence
  • Review and approve all contracts and seek input from MSL as appropriate
  • Manage project teams within area
  • Effectively coordinate division (office or practice) activities with the MSL
  • Accountable for Project Manager/Client Manager performance
  • Responsible for client profitability
  • Assist the Project Manager in A/R and invoicing
  • Approve training/seminars and memberships with annual budget and coordinate with other Area Leads within the market segment
  • Manage Utilization and Projects in Trouble
  • Approve time sheet
  • Develop, implement, lead, and support the strategic initiatives cultivating new market opportunities
  • Review proposals including the scope, schedule and fee and assign as needed
  • Monitor client satisfaction
  • Manage pricing strategies to drive profitability of market
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities for market segment
  • Chair regularly scheduled discussions to coordinate business development and operational issues
  • Responsible for market segment sales and budget
  • Provide annual Business Plan inputs (sales/revenues/staffing) to MSL
  • Identify and recommend training, seminars, and conferences to MSL
  • Provide input to/support the MSL on business development and growth initiatives
  • Analyze staff performance
  • Maintain a safe working environment
