Requirements
  • Admission to the California Bar is required.
  • At least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience defending Workers’ Compensation claims, including experience appearing before various Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board venues throughout California.
Responsibilities
  • Represent defense of third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and employers against the claims of employees.
  • Demonstrate and apply discovery and trial skills in workers’ compensation matters.
  • Defend against large exposure cases including fibromyalgia, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, psych and stress claims, asbestos claims, and the more common orthopedic, psych, and internal injury claims.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with the Workers’ Compensation Disability Rating Scale is preferred, but not required.
