Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or a four-year high school diploma with four years of full-time experience in housing management
  • Experience in tasks performed primarily clerical, secretarial, receptionist, and/or accounting is not acceptable
  • Experience that includes only incidental contact or interaction with tenants is not acceptable
Responsibilities
  • Interview tenants and landlords for potential fraud investigations
  • Recalculate tenant rent shares for unreported income
  • Prepare tenant stipulation payment agreements for monies owed to NYCHA
  • Commence termination action for noncompliance/fraud related activities
  • Testify in court and NYCHA hearings with the Law Department
  • Liaison with NYCHA OIG and Law Department
  • Prepare monthly fraud productivity reports for Director
  • Other duties as assigned
