According to TextNow's survey of 1,000 Americans, 92% consider mobile phone service essential, with phone bills now ranking among the top five monthly expenses consumers struggle to afford. The research found 64% of consumers report that phone bill worries affect their mental wellbeing, rising to 77% among Gen Z respondents.
