Requirements
  • At least 3 years of industrial pipe fitting experience; nuclear experience is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a basic written and hands-on pipefitter pre-employment test at the home office.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug/alcohol testing as required by customers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation, willingness to travel extensively, and availability to work variable hours.
  • Ability to perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and working extended shifts.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in varied body positions.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined or restricted spaces.
  • Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments under varying weather and site conditions.
  • Ability to work on uneven, slippery, or rough terrain in active industrial or construction settings.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including fall protection and respiratory protection when required.
  • Ability to maintain situational awareness and communicate effectively to work safely around moving equipment and hazards.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret drawings and design change procedures to install piping systems.
  • Install, modify, and repair piping systems, pipe hangers, and supports.
  • Use power and hand tools, including small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication.
  • Prepare piping for welding, perform different types of bevels, and prepare piping for post-weld in-service inspection.
  • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential card.
