Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and customer focus are required.
  • Ability to perform job duties in a repetitive and fast-paced environment is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift is required.
  • Ability to perform significant bending is required.
  • Knowledge of the safe use of chemicals used within the housekeeping department is required.
  • Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures is required.
  • Ability to follow health, safety, attendance, grooming, appearance, work-rule, and department procedures is required.
Responsibilities
  • Clean hotel public spaces.
  • Stock housekeeping supplies and linen.
  • Deliver housekeeping-related items to guest rooms.
  • Assist with and respond to guest requests in a positive and timely manner.
  • Support guest satisfaction as it relates to housekeeping services.
  • Follow the guest service recovery program.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, and applicable regulations.
  • Report maintenance needs and service issues.
  • Follow procedures for guest and employee incidents.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to produce the required volume of work.
  • Attend required department and hotel meetings.
  • Use equipment and supplies properly.
  • Assist housekeepers and other departments as necessary.
