- 18 months of UW Health Security Officer or comparable experience Required
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license issued by the individual's state of residence. Required
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle. Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
- IAHSS Advanced Certification within 6 months Required
- Act as an Officer in Charge and respond to leaders across UW Health by overseeing day to day operations of the shift in the absence of a Supervisor
- Properly document daily activities and write detailed and at times lengthy incident reports using computer software programs
- Serve as a positive example and provide consistent training, coaching, and evaluation of new officers as part of the department’s field training program
- Monitor and operate access control systems, security camera systems, intercoms, two-way radios, telephones, and alarm systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- IAHSS Basic Certification Preferred
