Requirements
- BSN required.
- Experience with transplantation including kidney, pancreas and liver highly valued.
- Willing and able to do on-call.
- Management experience with direct reports and payroll.
- Experience level 2-5 years.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and manages patient clinical evaluations and education.
- Management of and coordination of staff schedules including on-call schedule.
- Participates in the development of kidney transplant policies in collaboration with the director of Transplant Services and Physician leadership.
- Participates in Kidney Transplant Staff and Department Regulatory preparedness.
- Work closely with patients and families, collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams as well as works independently to achieve departmental goals.
- This position consists of nursing and assistant direct reports and yearly appraisal and payroll responsibility.
- This position does have on call requirements.
