Systems Architect Manager

Pinnacle Solutions is looking for a System Architect with supervisory capabilities at the Huntsville, AL location.

• Responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.
• Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations.
• Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately.
• Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
• Handles complex issues.
• Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
• Will be responsible for systems architecture, design, and development of new training equipment and their associated training systems.
• Supervises the work of a team of engineers that are responsible for systems infrastructure.
• Supervises the design, implementation, installation, maintenance, and administration of the organization's systems infrastructure, including hardware and software.
• Monitors system performance troubleshoots failed or underperforming components, and takes corrective action as needed.
• Develops program specifications, identifies required inputs, and is responsible for testing of systems.
• Implements modifications to improve functionality, ensuring satisfactory results.
• Ensures data integration and communication between interrelated systems.
• Coordinates the flow of work through the department.
• Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10 years' experience in performing engineering with hardware and software integration.
• Experience in SysML or MBSE desired.
• Must be a US citizen.
