Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Python and Django (must-have)
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and scalable backend architectures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a willingness to take ownership and iterate quickly
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django to support our growing platform
  • Design and optimize APIs to ensure seamless integration with our frontend and external systems
  • Enhance database performance, optimize queries, and ensure scalability
  • Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences
  • Implement AI-driven features, leveraging modern tools to automate and improve the hiring process
  • Own projects from end to end, working autonomously while contributing to a fast-moving team
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with TypeScript and React is a nice to have, but not required
  • Familiar working with AI tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
  • Located on the East Coast (NY/Tri-State area is a big plus) for better collaboration
