  • FAA Powerplant License.
  • Three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, Two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience, and Two (2) years on the assigned Engine (MDS- HH60).
  • All experience must be within the Six (6) most recent years.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
  • Tools are Required; must possess own shadowed/etched Tools and Toolbox.
Responsibilities
  • Repairs or replaces worn, defective, or damaged aircraft engine parts.
  • Tests engine components and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Uses testing equipment to diagnose and identify engine problems.
  • Disassembles and inspects engine parts like turbine blades and cylinders, for wear, warping, cracks, and leaks.
  • Assists in the preparation and installation of aircraft engines and the removal of engine systems and components.
  • Operates and evaluates engine systems with the use of an engine run cell.
