Requirements
  • A BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fields with a minimum of three (3) years hands-on payroll processing as well as payroll tax reconciliation practices. Familiarity with US payroll tax rates and multi-state payroll practices
  • Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors, including issue resolution and processing improvements
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and environments in a constantly evolving workplace
  • Communicates optimally with various levels of the management and across cultures
  • Hands-on, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance on processing the semi-monthly US payroll. Providing accurate and timely processing and reporting of all payroll processes and all subsequent responsibilities including assisting with projects as time permits
  • Performing validations of payroll inputs, downstream reports, and interfaces that include but not limited to GL postings, accruals, third-party (ADP)
  • Preparing reports and collaborating closely with the third-party vendors for monthly/quarterly/annual tax filings and compliance reporting
  • Responding to queries and requests from key partners within HR, Comp & Benefits, IT, Legal, Accounting and Finance on a timely basis
  • Harmonization and optimization of owned payroll processes and procedures
  • Support strategic projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of US Payroll function
  • Drive innovation, optimization, and compliance
