  • Significant knowledge of Venture Capital / Private Equity funds and the broader industry
  • Strong familiarity with how partners support VC and PE funds
  • Relevant network of contacts within the community, specifically encompassing upmarket VC funds, private equity funds, and the service providers that support them
  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills, with experience leading meetings with key leaders and decision makers
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models
  • Relevant Business Development / Partnerships or other industry experience
Responsibilities
  • Expand Carta’s distribution and market share by deepening working relationships with key partners and developing relationships with new ones
  • Represent Carta as a valuable contributor to the Venture Capital & Private Equity ecosystem
  • Create champions for Carta’s fund administration products for venture capital and private equity funds
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to collect feedback, drive conversations, and develop strategies
  • Develop and execute strategies to convert partners into preferred partners
  • Coordinate with Sales team to activate mutual books of business with partners
  • Lead discovery on additional paths for Carta to add value to partners
  • Drive non-linear referral motions with partners to increase referrals
  • Create awareness of Carta’s fund and investor tools for VC and PE funds
  • Represent Carta in the field, meeting with partners and attending industry events on Carta’s behalf
