Requirements
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- 5 or more years of experience as technical writer or documentation specialist in a high-tech software company writing low level technical documentation (API docs, ML models descriptions etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of researching and writing effective documentation for developers, with experience writing for internal engineering audiences
- Ability to understand source code written in languages such as Scala and Python
- Software development experience desirable
- Experience with cloud, big data analytics technologies, AI preferred
- You are scrappy, adaptable, and enjoy collaborative problem solving
Responsibilities
- Work with Machinify internal engineering, DevOps, data science, and product teams to to create and update engineering documentation to support the onboarding of new software developers and data scientists
- Create a knowledge base of FAQs and How To articles from Jira and Customer Service Portal tickets
- Enable technical hand offs of Machinify technology to strategic partners by producing onboarding and training collateral
- Lead the release notes process by collaborating with the Machinify development teams
- Edit, clarify, and enhance documents written by engineers
- Organize existing documents and identify opportunities to improve internal and external documentation
