  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • 5 or more years of experience as technical writer or documentation specialist in a high-tech software company writing low level technical documentation (API docs, ML models descriptions etc.)
  • Demonstrated track record of researching and writing effective documentation for developers, with experience writing for internal engineering audiences
  • Ability to understand source code written in languages such as Scala and Python
  • Software development experience desirable
  • Experience with cloud, big data analytics technologies, AI preferred
  • You are scrappy, adaptable, and enjoy collaborative problem solving
Responsibilities
  • Work with Machinify internal engineering, DevOps, data science, and product teams to to create and update engineering documentation to support the onboarding of new software developers and data scientists
  • Create a knowledge base of FAQs and How To articles from Jira and Customer Service Portal tickets
  • Enable technical hand offs of Machinify technology to strategic partners by producing onboarding and training collateral
  • Lead the release notes process by collaborating with the Machinify development teams
  • Edit, clarify, and enhance documents written by engineers
  • Organize existing documents and identify opportunities to improve internal and external documentation
