Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management, or related field required
  • MBA (preferred)
  • Experience working in health care and/or technology company (preferred)
  • 7-10 years of experience in supply chain/procurement (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management/supervisory role (required)
  • Procurement experience with federal government agencies (preferred)
  • Expertise in supply chain management

Responsibilities
  • Plans and directs procurement, production, inventory control, logistics, and distribution for the Enabling Technologies business unit, which sells and installs Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) equipment for its clients
  • Implements and uses MRP (materials requirement planning) and ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Manages contract vendor relationships, including monitoring supplier performance in responsiveness, cost, flexibility, and other relevant factors such as financial condition to ensure ability to fulfill contract requirements
  • Identifies and explains to suppliers the client's purchasing needs, e-sourcing, proprietary sourcing, and supply chain technology
  • Implements inventory management strategies to ensure continuity of supply to clients
  • Creates, updates, and approves purchase orders as needed. Researches the planning of all “out of stocks” or lead time planning
  • Leads forecast and inventory planning meetings, reviews recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals; manages inventory targets; works with Finance to develop and execute inventory policies & procedures to ensure adequate controls
  • Facilitates best practices and consensus between functional experts across business in demand planning
  • All other duties and projects as assigned
