Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of logistics and inventory management experience, demonstrating a self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience with an ERP system and digital record-keeping, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing freight forwarder selection and negotiations, with a strong understanding of contract terms and cost management.
  • Extensive experience with international shipping and customs regulations, including import/export documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in using computers, particularly in managing Excel spreadsheets, ERP system entries, and communication tools such as Email, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming inspection of materials upon arrival to the warehouse.
  • Support timely exportation inventory to meet production and sales demands.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Efficiency manage transactions in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with the export team to plan and coordinate the transportation of goods from the exportation warehouse to the final customer locations.
  • Negotiate and book freight with carriers, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Track shipments and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Maintain relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts and rates.
  • Maintain clear records to support efficiency of material movement, accuracy of customer shipments and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
  • Manage import/export documentation and customs clearance processes.
  • Work closely with supply chain, production, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics and inventory activities with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
