Requirements
  • Design and operate identity and access management controls across the Pismo platform in compliance with Visa Corporate Identity & Access Technical Security Requirements.
  • Support multicloud and hybrid environments and build secure, automated, and auditable access models for human and non-human identities.
  • Provide security and governance oversight for AI-enabled identity use cases in accordance with Internal AI Governance standards, GenAI and Agentic Systems requirements, and Corporate IAM Technical and Design requirements.
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree, no work experience with a PhD, or at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Have at least 8 years of cybersecurity experience with deep specialization in Identity and Access Management.
  • Demonstrate Senior or Consultant-level experience influencing IAM architecture, standards, and governance decisions.
  • Have experience supporting financial services, payments, or regulated environments.
  • Have strong hands-on experience designing and operating IAM across multicloud environments, including Amazon Web Services and hybrid or federated cloud models.
  • Design scalable permission models across cloud platforms, including cloud-native roles and permission sets, least-privilege and separation-of-duties enforcement, and human and non-human identities such as workloads and service accounts.
  • Understand role-based and attribute-based access models, IAM-governed access roles, entitlement cataloging, temporary access, just-in-time access, and break-glass access patterns.
  • Design access models that reduce audit scope, review volume, and operational risk.
  • Implement IAM automation for automated provisioning and de-provisioning, joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle management, access revalidation and certification, auto-remediation of non-compliant permissions, CI/CD integration, and Infrastructure-as-Code integration.
  • Codify IAM policies and controls using automation frameworks.
  • Have hands-on coding experience for IAM automation and integrations, including Python or equivalent scripting languages, APIs and software development kits, and Terraform-based IAM definitions.
  • Build reusable, auditable, and scalable IAM automation components.
  • Design and govern privileged access across cloud platforms and enforce time-bound, auditable privileged access aligned with least-privilege principles.
  • Understand cloud governance roles required for vulnerability scanning and configuration.
  • Be able to work in the United States.
  • Travel 5–10% of the time.

  • Partner with Cloud Security, Platform Engineering, API, DevSecOps, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed least-privilege, zero-trust, and automation-first IAM practices.
  • Provide security and governance oversight for AI-enabled identity use cases.
  • Design scalable cloud permission models and enforce least-privilege, separation-of-duties, and time-bound privileged access.
  • Implement IAM provisioning, de-provisioning, access certification, remediation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code automation.
  • Codify IAM policies and controls and build reusable, auditable, scalable automation components.
