  • B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with database development or automation of reporting
  • Experience with developing, conducting and evaluating engineering tests
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with physical security detection and delay technologies
  • Ability to proactively collect, manage and transfer knowledge
  • Ability to seek different and novel ways to create efficiencies
Responsibilities
  • Develop material accounting system for fuel fabrication and test reactor facilities
  • Document recommendations related to securing the material accounting system
  • Interface with NMMSS staff as needed
  • Write testing plans and summarize results for internal distribution
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Facilities Teams
  • Interface with national laboratory staff
  • Infrequently ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, scissor lifts
  • General office environment
  • Some travel may be required (up to 15%)
