Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in carpentry, construction, or in-home installation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, including drills and screwdrivers, and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Ability to solve problems and communicate verbally with clients.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure windows using tape measures or lasers for ordering custom window treatments.
- Safely install mounting brackets, secure hardware, and hang window coverings such as drapes, traditional and motorized blinds, shutters, and awnings.
- Remove existing window coverings, treat surrounding surfaces, and prepare areas for new installation.
- Instruct clients on product maintenance, operation, and safety features, especially for motorized treatments.
- Maintain a clean work environment, safely manage ladders, and comply with all safety regulations.
