Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HRBP support to critical teams across Nuro, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
  • Support our Software Engineering and Software Operations teams across multiple domains, heavily emphasizing infrastructure and platform engineering.
  • Coach and advise managers to ensure they have the tools and resources to develop and manage their teams effectively.
  • Drive decision-making by providing insightful data and people solutions to organizational leaders.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management on Performance Management, Engagement Surveys, and Leadership Development programs, driving a culture of continuous feedback, employee engagement, and effective talent management.
  • Design and implement HR plans and programs that align with Nuro’s long-term business strategy.
  • Ensure team culture remains high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive, fostering an environment where people can do their best work.
  • Meet with leaders across the organization to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and provide feedback to senior leadership.
  • Provide compensation support, including salary planning, promotions, job re-leveling, and salary actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements for employee management to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, fostering fair and consistent application of HR policies.

As Uber strengthens its position in the market, its focus on expanding services and enhancing customer loyalty is paying off, with notable growth in both membership and demand across its platforms. Uber says it is entering 2025 with momentum, driven by a surge in its Uber One membership program and increased demand across its Mobility and Delivery services. During the company’s fourth-quarter and full-year earnings call Wednesday (Feb. 5), Chief Financial Officer Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah noted, “we’re leaning into membership.” Uber added 5 million members to its Uber One program during the quarter, bringing its overall membership to 30 million. Uber’s fourth-quarter gross bookings rose 18%, to $44.2 billion, with Mobility and Delivery bookings both increasing 18%. Revenue increased 20%, to $12 billion
