Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • At least 2 years of mechanical design experience is required.
  • Experience designing fabricated structures, mechanical assemblies, or industrial equipment is required.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D computer-aided design software is required.
  • Experience creating manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design structural frames, enclosures, weldments, sheet metal assemblies, and equipment layouts.
  • Develop mechanical designs that support fit, function, serviceability, installation, and transportation.
  • Support integration of cooling equipment, piping, mechanical components, and electrical systems.
  • Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, and engineering documentation.
  • Perform component sizing, tolerance analysis, and basic engineering calculations.
  • Support design reviews, prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing principles to improve quality and production efficiency.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to resolve fit-up, tolerance, and assembly issues.
  • Support engineering changes and continuous product improvement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with modular infrastructure, industrial skids, power systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, or equipment enclosures.
  • Experience with weldments, sheet metal, piping, thermal systems, finite element analysis, or computational fluid dynamics.
  • Background in fabrication, custom manufacturing, or New Product Introduction.
