- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least 2 years of mechanical design experience is required.
- Experience designing fabricated structures, mechanical assemblies, or industrial equipment is required.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D computer-aided design software is required.
- Experience creating manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation is required.
- Design structural frames, enclosures, weldments, sheet metal assemblies, and equipment layouts.
- Develop mechanical designs that support fit, function, serviceability, installation, and transportation.
- Support integration of cooling equipment, piping, mechanical components, and electrical systems.
- Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, and engineering documentation.
- Perform component sizing, tolerance analysis, and basic engineering calculations.
- Support design reviews, prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Apply Design for Manufacturing principles to improve quality and production efficiency.
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve fit-up, tolerance, and assembly issues.
- Support engineering changes and continuous product improvement.
- Experience with modular infrastructure, industrial skids, power systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, or equipment enclosures.
- Experience with weldments, sheet metal, piping, thermal systems, finite element analysis, or computational fluid dynamics.
- Background in fabrication, custom manufacturing, or New Product Introduction.
