Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations is required.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, SharePoint, and ADP are required.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
  • Occasional travel for company events or meetings may be required.
  • The role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, use of hands and arms, occasional climbing, extended computer or telephone use, lifting up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance, responding to visual and auditory alarms, and working indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and post rent payments in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with collections, including past-due balances and former resident accounts.
  • Maintain account records and financial transactions, including NSF checks, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and management-approved debits and credits.
  • Maintain complete and accurate resident files and documentation.
  • Assist with market surveys and competitive analysis.
  • Show, lease, and assist with move-ins for prospective residents.
  • Process rental applications, renewals, and move-out documentation.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and assist with deposit accounting.
  • Perform regular property and vacant unit inspections.
  • Partner with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure prompt, high-quality service resolution.
  • Process maintenance work orders promptly and accurately.
  • Provide customer service to residents.
  • Resolve resident concerns and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Support the Property Manager with daily operations and assigned special projects.
  • Maintain accurate unit availability.
  • Provide phone and administrative support.
  • Adhere to operating procedures, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Apartment Manager, Certified Property Manager, Residential Management Professional, or Certified Manager of Community Associations are preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Yardi, Entrata, Celeri, EliseAI, and Asana is a bonus.
