Requirements
  • A high school degree, an Associate degree from a two-year college or university, one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • Knowledge of EDI software and web-based portals is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is required.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence is required.
  • Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as they relate to the function is required.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in situations with limited standardization is required.
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions is required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear; frequently sit; and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds is required.
Responsibilities
  • Process all Electronic Data Interchange and web-based portal invoices.
  • Compute and record financial transactions and accounting information to maintain accounting EDI records.
  • Work with electronic programs and portals, including Trusted Link, Bud Exchange, Xign/Coupa, WFX Express, Exostar, e-Pro, GE Supplier Net, Clear Orbit, JDSN, BE Fleet, B2B, OB10, IOL Portal, eTyson Procurement, Ariba, Supplier Select, and Parkdale Portal.
  • Work with cash application and collection personnel to find and match payments through portals.
  • Compile reports on EDI receipts and own the assigned account portfolio.
  • Determine the accuracy of balances, calculations, and postings; investigate and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Work directly with branches to process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Create vouchers, invoices, account statements, and related documents.
  • Develop queries when needed and generate and distribute reports.
  • Maintain appropriate records, files, and documentation.
  • Interface and coordinate with internal and external customers through various communication channels.
  • Provide front desk backup duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
