Role
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day team management and ownership of product management for the data insights components of our products, including the data pipeline from ingest of 1st and 3rd party sources to distribution points to our API and suite of applications.
Responsibilities
- Management of individual PMs responsible for various data product components.
- Business cases on a feature by feature basis.
- Product requirements that support those business cases.
- Product roadmaps to support those requirements.
- Execution plans for those roadmaps.
Requirements
- Eagerness and demonstrated experience building products and teams from scratch.
- Minimum of 3 years of people management experience building, leading, and mentoring high performance product management teams, including hiring, performance and growth management, and career development.
- Practical experience developing products using a wide variety of technologies and solutions, both on premise and in the cloud, especially in the areas of APIs, databases, data visualization, and computer vision. You understand the pros and cons of each (or many) of them, and the tradeoffs of using a particular technology to solve different problems.
- Minimum 8 years of product management experience working in a continuous delivery and agile environment with a demonstrated ability to ship ongoing versions of complex API and/or data related software products in a startup environment.
- You have a familiarity working with a wide variety of ecosystem partners and understand their nuances, strengths and weaknesses.
- You are comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple offices and timezones.
- Having a broad knowledge of, and interest in, sports is highly desirable.
Pay
- Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $185,000 and $210,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for equity and benefits.
