Requirements
  • Culinary education and/or a Chef designation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Advanced Food Safety or HACCP certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality or food service industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive culinary leadership roles, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, or workforce lodges.
  • Demonstrated experience operating large-volume food service environments.
  • Strong knowledge of menu costing, recipe card implementation, and cost controls.
  • Advanced practical and theoretical knowledge across hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry and bakery, butchery, and banquets and mass-service operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and food service systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain culinary teams.
Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for leadership within all food service operations.
  • Prepare, present, design, and serve high-quality rotational menus at scale.
  • Lead the kitchen operation to safely and efficiently service 500 or more guests daily, with rapid growth to more than 4,000 guests per day.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, quality, and contractual scope requirements.
  • Enforce compliance with Dexterra food safety programs, including FOODSAFE and HACCP.
  • Lead, train, develop, and mentor the entire culinary team.
  • Supervise kitchen staff productivity, performance, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage labor, food, and chemical resources to ensure efficiency and cost control.
  • Oversee ordering, inventory control, and bi-weekly inventory counts.
  • Apply expertise in dietary requirements, including allergies, vegan, vegetarian, and special diets.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
  • Serve clients and guests in a personable, professional, and service-oriented manner.
  • Support the Executive Chef with culinary input related to planning, forecasting, and operational execution.

Dexterra Group revenue climbs 8% to $269M as EBITDA margin hits 12%

Dexterra Group reported strong Q2 2026 results, with revenue rising 8% year-over-year to $269 million and adjusted EBITDA increasing 9% to $33 million. The company achieved a 12% adjusted EBITDA margin and generated $22 million in free cash flow during the quarter. Support services revenue grew 10% to $226 million, whilst asset-based services revenue reached $43 million. The asset-based services segment saw its adjusted EBITDA margin improve to 40% from 38% in the prior year period, driven by higher-margin workforce accommodation rental revenue. Net debt decreased to $206 million from $225 million at the end of March 2026, representing 1.5 times adjusted EBITDA. The company's trailing 12-month return on equity reached 15.4%, meeting its 15% target. Dexterra declared a dividend of $0.10 per share, payable in October 2026.
