Requirements
  • 3+ years of industry experience in a robotics or computer vision application
  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience integrating sensors including LiDAR, camera, radar, inertial, and GNSS in a computer vision system
  • Experience running sensor parameters and post-processing algorithms for performance and latency
  • Experience developing and reviewing production-quality software in multiple programming languages
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others
  • Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions
Responsibilities
  • Be part of a team of multidisciplinary Engineers and Research Scientists using an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale
  • Be responsible for software integration of the sensor suite for our self-driving truck platform
  • Collaborate with hardware, autonomy, sensor simulation, and calibration teams to evaluate new sensors
  • Participate and share ideas in technical discussions, collaborating with researchers and engineers
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a software manager, team lead, or technical lead
  • Experience in adjacent domains such as calibration and computer vision
  • Experience with software performance, optimization, and profiling
  • Rust and/or CUDA experience
  • Experience with bespoke, commercial or open-source robotics frameworks
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
