- BS or higher in science related discipline, chemistry is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in FDA regulated environment
- Perform routine chemical testing of raw materials and packaging components in accordance with USP or in-house methodology
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using analytical instrumentation
- Utilize electronic laboratory information systems such as LIMS for processing analytical data
- Analyze data against approved specifications, notifying management of any Out of Specification (OOS) and aberrant results
- Perform peer review of laboratory testing, as required
- Create and maintain lab record documentation according to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time throughout the work day
- Must have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis in order to perform job
