- 3–10 years of experience developing Power BI solutions, data models, or analytics systems in enterprise or government environments.
- Ability to independently perform all functional duties with minimal oversight, including dashboard development, data shaping, workflow creation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Teams, and building automated, scalable reporting solutions.
- Working knowledge of data governance, formatting, Data Analysis Expressions, JavaScript Object Notation, calculated columns, source system integration, and configuration control.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams, program offices, and functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
- Design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and data models to support Test Wing business processes, analysis needs, and operational decision-making.
- Integrate Power BI with SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 platforms to build automated workflows and user-focused digital tools.
- Organize, manage, and structure source data; build data infrastructures; optimize data relationships; and ensure integrity across interconnected reporting systems.
- Provide technical troubleshooting, near-real-time support, and performance improvements for Power BI products, automation flows, permissions structures, and API-connected data sources.
- Develop embedded analytics tools, create custom visualizations, support configuration control, and contribute to process improvement efforts for 96 TW/XPI digital modernization initiatives.
- Certifications in Power BI, Microsoft 365, or related data analytics tools.

Daniel joined Canvas as Director of Strategic Planning and has since advanced into executive leadership, bringing extensive experience in strategic growth, capture, and customer engagement across the defense and national security community. As Vice President of Business Development, he will lead Canvas' growth strategy and customer engagement efforts, working across the organization to align emerging mission needs with the company's capabilities in test and evaluation, engineering, digital modernization, software, and mission systems. Prior to joining Canvas, Daniel held business development leadership roles at QuantiTech and Axient, where he most recently served as Director of IDIQ/GWACs. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing growth strategies, building trusted customer and industry relationships, and positioning technical capabilities against evolving Department of Defense priorities. Daniel earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Management Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Alabama.
