Requirements
  • Must be a student pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or similar (Minimum GPA 3.0)
  • Basic understanding of key business functions (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Finance) would be beneficial
  • Experience with data analytics and programming software and languages (i.e. SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, etc.) and a strong understanding of PC-based applications, such as Microsoft Excel (including Power Query/Pivot) and Microsoft Access
  • Experience with creating dashboards in a data visualization tool (Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
  • Previous experience with SAP and Oracle EPM is a plus
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, project management, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High responsiveness and flexibility to changing business priorities and tight deadlines
  • High level of enthusiasm, desire to learn and a continuous improvement mindset
Responsibilities
  • Understand and assess existing business processes and the data supporting them to design innovative, automated analytics that create efficiencies and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain existing and create new Microsoft Access Databases that house product level data for various customers
  • Build and maintain data visualizations in Power BI that can be communicated to non-technical users in order to provide fresh insight into business data
  • Work cross-departmentally on ad hoc requests to facilitate data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making
  • Act as the point of contact for data & reporting related issues
