Requirements
  • Must possess a valid British Columbia security worker licence.
  • Must possess a valid British Columbia driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.

  • Be able to proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.
  • Be able to complete evacuation and emergency-response procedures.
  • Be able to communicate problems or concerns to the supervisor.
  • Possess multitasking, problem-solving, prioritizing, and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a mobile patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations.
  • Conduct security checks at client sites according to directives, standards, and post orders.
  • Utilize company cell phones, two-way radios, and the TrackTik phone application.
  • Conduct alarm response to client sites as needed.
  • Conduct House Watch patrols if necessary.
  • Attend lone-worker sites to check on workers when requested.
  • Complete incident and shift reports, including run sheets, vehicle inspection reports, key muster reports, TrackTik reports, alarm reports, and inventory reports.
  • Report for shifts on time and maintain proper dress and deportment at all times.
  • Report unsafe incidents, practices, and issues.
  • Conduct vehicle checks at the start of shifts and accurately report any issues.
  • Maintain proper respect for tools and equipment and ensure key control at all times.
  • Keep vehicles clean and washed as required.
  • Maintain a high standard of work ethic and professionalism.
  • Promote a respectful workplace through a courteous, professional attitude.
  • Keep management aware of unusual incidents.
  • Assist in training new patrol drivers and set a good example.
  • Complete additional assignments as instructed by the Client Service Manager for Mobile Patrols.
