  • 5+ years of hardware product management experience, preferably in robotics, automation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading product development for new hardware products, including prototyping, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

  • Ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Deeply empathetic to customer needs, with a strong ability to translate feedback into actionable insights.
  • Thrives in a cross-functional environment, working with engineering, marketing, sales, and customers to drive results.
  • Willing and able to work in our Cambridge office at least 3x per week and able to travel to customer warehouses as required.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software product managers and engineering leads to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Pickle’s hardware solutions.
  • Translate customer and market needs into detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities and business goals.
  • Drive the seamless integration of third-party platforms into our robotic systems, ensuring compatibility, performance, and operational efficiency within supply chain environments.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to prioritize and execute on key deliverables, ensuring successful product launches.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay ahead of market trends to inform product development and ensure Pickle’s hardware solutions lead the industry.
  • Work closely with customers and end-users to gather insights, test prototypes, and iterate on solutions that address real-world challenges.
  • Manage the full hardware product lifecycle, from concept to production to end-of-life planning.
  • Anticipate and address technical and logistical challenges, ensuring products meet reliability, quality, and scalability requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation robotics is strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
