Reviewing business requirements and developing test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reports
Performing functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress, and performance testing
Managing communications related to QA status and reporting potential risks
Working closely with development and product teams to resolve testing issues
Analyzing test results and facilitating issue resolution
Iterating on existing testing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

As an Associate QA Analyst at IXL, you will be responsible for ensuring that we consistently deliver software of the highest quality. You will work closely with our product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for a variety of exciting new features. #LI-JR1

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Review business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reports
Perform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testing
Manage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycle
Work closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
Analyze test results and facilitate resolution of issues
Iterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BA/BS degree required
Ability to work both independently and on a wide variety of teams
Passion for making bullet-proof applications and improving education through technology
Self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plus
Scripting or programming experience is a plus

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $67,000 - $75,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
