Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations is required.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, are required.
  • Intermediate skills in SharePoint and ADP are required.
  • Strong leasing, sales, and collection capabilities are required.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and professional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.
  • Occasional travel for company events or meetings may be required.
  • The ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and arms, climb occasionally, and use computers or telephones for extended periods is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance is required.
  • The ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms is required.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and post rent payments in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with collections, including past-due balances and former resident accounts.
  • Maintain account records and financial transactions, including NSF checks, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and management-approved debits and credits.
  • Maintain complete and accurate resident files and documentation.
  • Assist with market surveys and competitive analysis.
  • Show apartments, lease units, and assist with resident move-ins.
  • Process rental applications, renewals, and move-out documentation.
  • Conduct move-in inspections, move-out inspections, and deposit accounting.
  • Perform regular property and vacant-unit inspections.
  • Partner with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure prompt service resolution and operational performance.
  • Process maintenance work orders promptly and accurately.
  • Provide customer service to residents and resolve resident concerns, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Support the Property Manager with daily operations and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate unit availability.
  • Provide phone and administrative support.
  • Adhere to company operating procedures, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Apartment Manager, Certified Property Manager, Residential Management Professional, or Certified Manager of Community Associations are preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Yardi, Entrata, Celeri, EliseAI, and Asana is a bonus.
