Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, information technology, or other related discipline or equivalent experience
  • An active Top-Secret/SCI with CI poly is required. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Any combination of 10 years of military and/or government professional experience supporting a cyber or cryptologic mission.
  • Professional experience may include mission support as a military service member, federal government employee or contractor in support to U.S. Cyber Command, a U.S. Cyber Command subordinate entity, Service Cyber Component or subordinate entity, or the National Security Agency.
Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in Cyber Protection Team (CPT) operations and planning to meet mission objectives. Activities include those activities required to support execution of CPT operations to include, but not limited to hunt, harden, and assessment.
  • Provide assistance to OPTs, CFTs, CATs and other B2C2WGs, representing JFHQ-C (Navy) FWD and FCC PAC equities, operations, activities, and investments to include but not limited to the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN), exercise support, Maritime Planning Group (MPG), and other Community of Interest events with Whole of Government (WoG) and CCMD partners.
  • Assist JFHQ-C (Navy) FWD and FCC PAC in drafting, coordinating, and quality control of Post mission products from CPTs.
  • Provide expertise in DCO to track mission related requirements, tasks assigned to JFHQ-C (Navy) FWD and FCC PAC directorates, collect responses and due-outs, and keep senior staff apprised of their status.
  • Support JFHQ-C (Navy) PWD and FCC PAC DCO support operations, activities, and investments to exercises and exercise scenario development. Provide subject matter expertise to JFHQ-C (Navy) FWD and FCC PAC leadership and be prepared to stand watch to support exercises and CAT requirements.
