Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a talented Data Scientist with a strong statistical modeling and programming/software engineering skillset to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our production grade Commercial Sales & Marketing analytics initiatives, with opportunities to contribute to the development of machine learning initiatives. This role will particularly focus on the areas of omnichannel marketing campaigns, marketing mix ROI, measurement dashboards, and bespoke Commercial impact analyses.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Act as an internal technical consultant on statistical modeling techniques and execute on projects spanning our Commercial analytics and ML initiatives.
- Assess, clean, and analyze large structured and/or unstructured datasets.
- Employ and encourage data science and software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with other technical colleagues including data engineers, front-end engineers, etc.
- Design, implement, and maintain journey assignments for marketing campaigns, ensuring randomized and unbiased processes.
- Develop and deliver bespoke measurement analyses for Omnichannel Marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the maintenance and expansion of the Marketing Dashboard backend code, ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Handle the post-ETL processes of our Next-Best-Action recommendation system and Performance Dashboard.
- Provide essential support for new brand integrations and implement updates to align with strategic business imperatives.
- Promptly address and resolve production issues raised by our Sales and Marketing teams when pertinent to production DS systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Conduct bespoke Commercial impact analyses for our Commercial Leadership, providing actionable insights to drive business strategies.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- PhD. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline with 1+ years of relevant professional industry experience, or a Master’s degree in a related discipline with 3+ years of relevant professional industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with an emphasis on Python ML libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, and Pytorch.
- Strong foundation in statistics, including techniques such as A/B testing design and causal inference with experimental data.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices including version control (Git), Docker and documentation, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to derive insights from data.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in marketing or commercial analytics is a strong plus.
