Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field with 4–6 years of experience in training development and delivery
  • Experience developing and delivering both instructor-led training (ILT) and computer-based training (CBT), preferably in Department of Defense or federal environment
  • Proficiency with training development tools including Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Moodle, or similar authoring and learning management systems
  • Familiarity with Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and ADDIE instructional design models and their practical application
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to deliver training to diverse audiences and technical skill levels
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required with ability to maintain clearance throughout employment
  • Experience supporting Marine Corps or military logistics systems and understanding of military training environments
  • Familiarity with MarineNet, Blackboard, or other DoD Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content delivery and management
  • Experience with User Production Kits (UPKs) or similar interactive training tools and e-learning development platforms
Responsibilities
  • Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and interactive content in accordance with Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and ADDIE instructional design methodologies
  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions at designated training centers, field locations, or via virtual platforms to support user readiness and system proficiency
  • Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of Mobile Training Suites (MTS) for on-site training events and field deployments
  • Upload, maintain, and manage training content in Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms such as MarineNet, DISA GCDS, or Blackboard
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to identify improvement opportunities and enhance course content and delivery methods
  • Coordinate with Government training leads to schedule, plan, and execute training events while ensuring alignment with operational requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive training documentation, including lesson plans, participant rosters, training records, and after-action reports
  • Create and update User Productivity Kits (UPKs) and other interactive training tools to enhance learning effectiveness and user engagement
  • Ensure all training materials comply with Section 508 accessibility standards and meet federal training requirements
  • Support training resource management activities and coordinate logistics for training events across multiple locations
