Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role, with at least 3 years of experience operating at a VP level.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for complex software products, particularly focused on delivering value to mid-sized companies.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive both new logo and expansion bookings.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, segments, and personas for effective product positioning that is informed by a strong knowledge of the customer and leads with value delivered against business need.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, services) to align product positioning and messaging with market demand.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to achieving revenue growth objectives and ultimately, overall market success.
  • Define and communicate clear product value propositions, differentiators, and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop compelling content for marketing campaigns, sales collateral, presentations, and web assets to support product launches and ongoing demand generation.
  • Establish feedback loops between sales and product teams to refine positioning and messaging.
  • Partner with the sales enablement org to develop materials, sales tools, and resources to achieve revenue goals; in particular, drive effective new logo acquisition plays, plus expansion plays for cross-sell and upsell to customers.
  • Manage the product launch process on new products, new features, and competitive positioning to ensure sales, service and customer success orgs are aligned and ready for customer conversations.
  • Design, build and lead a world-class organization that high-performing product marketers will crave to be a part of to develop their skills and grow their careers.
  • Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for the product marketing team, aligning with broader company goals and objectives.
  • Instill a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals, monitor team performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of product marketing led GTM plays and strategies, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Leverage product usage and customer analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
