Responsibilities
  • Daily commission validation by researching, reconciling and correcting complex commission transactions for all levels within the hierarchy.
  • Analyze compensation transactions to determine if manual payment or exception is required based on the best solution for the agent and the company.
  • Monitor, research and identify variances between commissions earned versus paid. Process necessary commission adjustments to offset net payments.
  • Ability to perform and effectively report the results of system commission testing, including manual commission calculation and commission statement accuracy.
  • Create and monitor Firm commission schedules. Work with IT to facilitate, maintain and quality check the loading of schedules.
  • Manage and validate the annual agent 1099 NEC taxation process.
  • Responsible for providing customized payroll calculations, analysis and data for non-direct pay Firms based on their commission hierarchy.
  • Monitor and provide timely response to customer requests while maintaining operational measures of responsiveness and quality.
  • Processes payable commission/reserving transactions to offset existing debit balances.
  • Support time-sensitive projects based on department goals and initiatives.
  • Develop professional and dependable working relationships across the organization and with external customers.
  • Identify and escalate trends, issues and make recommendations for change.
  • Support Commission, Debit Balance and Agent Licensing phone queues.
  • Cross train and work across lines of business to back up the Debit Balance, Agent Licensing and Commission teams.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
