Responsibilities
  • Identify request-for-proposal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements and develop solicitation materials and scopes of work or quote forms for individual sales projects.
  • Define functional and technical requirements.
  • Perform solicitation, outreach, and documentation of all Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation, Good Faith Efforts, and goal achievement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure successful collaboration.
  • Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional negotiating teams targeting key spend categories.
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies and establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure successful implementation and support.
  • Remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts, and identify and communicate new technologies and solutions to key problems in assigned spend areas.
  • Maintain working knowledge of internal policies and procedures, including Source to Settle and the code of ethics, to ensure organizational behavior reflects integrity, honesty, and transparency.
  • Maintain internal and external deadlines.
  • Manage assigned work volume.
  • Achieve flawless execution on deliverables.
Desired Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in public administration, supply chain, business administration, law, or a related field.
  • Experience in the transportation sector.
