Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of experience scoping and delivering corporate technology or business systems projects in a high-growth or multi-site environment.
  • Prior ownership of a major business system deployment, such as Productivity, Line of Business, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, human resources information system, or similar, with the ability to explain architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
  • Working proficiency in Bash, Python, and HCL, including making changes in existing infrastructure-as-code repositories, scripting against SaaS APIs, and building in integration platforms such as Zapier or Rippling workflows.
  • Working fluency in enterprise integration fundamentals, including single sign-on using SAML or OIDC, user provisioning, RESTful APIs, and data flows between SaaS systems.
  • Experience defining or deploying workplace technology standards for networking, audiovisual systems, and office or site buildouts, including managing the associated vendors.
  • Exceptional writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to discuss standards and vendors with facilities personnel and integrations and identity with engineers.
  • High agency and comfort with ambiguity, including owning projects end to end without waiting for the next step to be assigned.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, Field Operations, and PeopleOps as a technology consultant, turning business needs into concrete, well-documented plans for the infrastructure team to execute.
  • Own the shared-services layer on which business systems are built, ensuring new tools fit cleanly into the environment and carrying each rollout through go-live.
  • Modify HCL to deploy new services, configure integrations in platforms such as Zapier or Rippling's workflow engine, and write small Python Lambda functions when needed.
  • Own workplace technology standards for new sites, including internet connectivity and video conferencing, and deploy them across office expansions in San Francisco, New York, Austin, and Phoenix.
  • Coordinate the vendors and services behind each site buildout from initial engagement through final handoff.
  • Co-author Requests For Discussion for major system rollouts and guide business partners through the process.
  • Engage identity and infrastructure specialists as needed while remaining accountable for delivery end to end.
  • Drive the evolution of owned standards so each deployment improves on the previous one.

Software uses large-scale machine learning models trained on data from real projects to achieve expert-like performance. Bedrock's autonomous technology has been deployed on big production equipment, such as Caterpillar Cat 352 and Cat 336 hydraulic excavators, confirming its effectiveness on full-size machines suited for demanding bulk earthmoving. Bedrock is concentrating on large-scale construction activities where excavators do repeat, high-volume earthmoving operations, rather than smaller or more regulated applications. The tech company views autonomy as a method for contractors to enhance the amount of work that current teams can do while boosting safety and project predictability. Bedrock first concentrated on excavators, but its long-term goal is to create autonomous systems that can coordinate numerous kinds of construction machines throughout a worksite. The market for self-driving heavy equipment is becoming more competitive. The company, valued at $1.75 billion, was founded in 2024 to automate construction and accelerate infrastructure projects. The construction industry faces significant challenges, including labour shortages and high worker death rates. More than 40% of the construction workforce is projected to retire by 2031. Real-world applications. On a manufacturing campus in central Texas, Champion Site Prep uses the Bedrock Operator to explore how autonomous systems complement the crews they have today. The Bedrock Operator is the platform through which contractors deploy and supervise autonomy systems across machines and sites.
