Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Associate Creative Director in an healthcare professional communications agency or equivalent business, with experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare.
  • At least 2 years of management experience overseeing 2-10 junior creatives.
  • At least 7 years of experience leading brands, creative teams, and creative project oversight in an agency setting.
  • BA or MA in English, Journalism, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong portfolio showing innovative thinking across a wide range of tactics and award-winning work.
  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to own the creative process and sell ideas to clients.
Responsibilities
  • Lead brands and creative teams, overseeing art directors or copywriters as appropriate, with responsibility for creative project oversight.
  • Own the creative process, sell ideas to clients, and execute in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
  • Take on creative leadership in pitches and presentations and help bring in new and organic business.
  • Act as a hands-on contributor when needed, while primarily leading projects and activating key creative resources internally and externally.
  • Foster a strong working relationship with the Copy/Art Creative team and represent them when necessary.
  • Demonstrate passion and active drive to concept and execute award-winning creative output; show strong team leadership and understanding of the medical communications business.
  • Be a vital member of brand teams and partner with clients, account, and scientific teams to elevate projects.
  • Manage time, organize work efficiently, and work well with remote teams; travel may be required (less than 30%).
