Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resources with a focus on policy, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Previous experience with Payroll and Benefits software
  • Strong organizational and data analytics skills
  • Experience with data integrity and IT systems including effective use of PEOPLE Management systems and Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Training and onboarding experience desirable
  • Experience working in a manufacturing site is desirable
  • Ability to commute to Wiscasset, ME and Brunswick, ME Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding of employees ensuring administration processes are handled efficiently and reported correctly to external partners
  • People and organizational changes support in an HR capacity
  • Deliver new hire payroll and benefits onboarding presentations during orientation
  • Develops and/or participates in trainings, in-services, and attends local staff meetings as required
  • Provide compensation, payroll, and benefits support including Day-to-day payroll and benefits administration including portal management and follow up with respective employees
  • Employee engagement, attraction, and retention strategies
  • Efficient training and source of knowledge of all People policies, processes, systems and providers
