Requirements of the HR Services Specialist :

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resources with a focus on policy, payroll, and benefits administration. 
• Previous experience with Payroll and Benefits software.
• Strong organizational and data analytics skills.
• Experience with data integrity and IT systems including effective use of PEOPLE Management systems and Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Training and onboarding experience desirable.
• Experience working in a manufacturing site is desirable.
• Ability to commute to Wiscasset, ME and Brunswick, ME Monday through Friday. This will be office-based, rotating between two manufacturing sites.

• Annual pay in the range of: $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the HR Services Specialist :

• The successful candidate is a self-starter with previous human resources experience who will demonstrate strong stakeholder management, adaptability, & prioritization skills.
• Conduct onboarding and offboarding of employees ensuring administration processes are handled efficiently and reported correctly to external partners.
• People and organizational changes support in an HR capacity
• Deliver new hire payroll and benefits onboarding presentations during orientation. Develops and/or participates in trainings, in-services, and attends local staff meetings as required.
• Provide compensation, payroll, and benefits support including Day-to-day payroll and benefits administration including portal management and follow up with respective employees
• Employee engagement, attraction, and retention strategies
• Efficient training and source of knowledge of all People policies, processes, systems and providers
